Each medallion is officially licensed and approved by the National Hockey League (NHL). These officially licensed medallions have been colorized using a unique multicolor authentic process by the Merrick Mint. Colorizing medallions involves the unique application of special inks directly to the surface using a unique and painstakingly multi-color process, that achieves a level of detail, color saturation, and durability that is #1 in the industry. Each medallion comes in a coin capsule. The 3-medallion set comes with a NHL Certificate of Authenticity.
