Professional sports have been part of American culture for over 100 years.  Only three teams throughout history can make the claim that they were the first champions in their respective sports, making them great historic events.  This incredible coin set features three legal tender U.S. State Quarters that were struck by the U.S. Mint, then privately colorized with images of the first-ever championship teams. In baseball, Boston won the first even Baseball Championship in 1903 (Massachusetts State Quarter).  In Football, Green Bay Packers won the first ever Super Bowl in 1966 (Wisconsin State Quarter). In Basketball, Philadelphia won the first even Basketball Championship in 1947 (Pennsylvania State Quarter)
